The pre-party party.......

We aren't having Brayson's b-day party until the first weekend in Apr. since none of the family can get together before then. Instead of just having a special dinner or something, Brayson decided that he wanted to eat a lunchable and get one of the pre-made cakes at Reasors. I let him pick one out and then they added "Happy 4th Birthday Brayson" to it. He also picked out the baseball glove candles to go on top. The package had six in it and when I tried to just put 4 on the cake, someone had a melt-down and the cake ended up with all 6 candles :) Here are a few pics from the event......................

Today he turns 4!

Today my baby boy turns 4! I cannot believe he is already that old. He will be going to preschool next year and I'm going to be so sad! He, on the other hand, is so ready to be a "big boy"!

We'll celebrate by taking a flashback via photos:

When he was about 6 or 7 mo.

I think he was 2 here.

I'm so blessed to have these children and can't believe how they are growing before my very own eyes!

BIG NEWS!

WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!!!!!

I just couldn't wait to get that off my chest! I've actually been able to keep it secret for 3 wks.! That's amazing! We were keeping it secret until I went to the dr. last Mon to make sure everything was alright and also until we told Jason's parents. We took them out to dinner Fri night and I bought this cute little card and decorated it with 5 duckies, put a sono pic in it and wrote "Celebrating Baby #3" on the inside. They were so surprised! When we said we were going to take them to dinner, they both had different thoughts running through their heads on why we were doing this and neither one of them would have ever guessed that news!

Both of the kids seem excited too. Well, Trevor only 1/2 the time......he thinks little brothers and sisters are "really annoying" and you know what, they are :) Brayson on the other hand keeps asking me "When can I see "yours" baby?" or "Will you take it out so I can see it?". So cute! He also spent about 20 min. yesterday after Church kissing my belly and singing his "little sister" songs.

We have adopted a new motto among our friends and family, "Praying for Pink"! I'm out numbered in my home and dang it I want a little girl! :)

Our due date is Oct 21 and I'm almost 9 wks. along.

Wishing everyone a wonderful week!

Busy Week

Man, this week has been so busy! Actually, this whole year has been busy so far, especially at work! We are getting a tremendous amount of business lately. It's a great thing for our company but it really stinks for me since my "job" consist of about 5 or more different areas. I don't think my desk is going to be clean for a LONG time :)

Anyway, this weekend we will be cleaning a LOT! My mom and one of my sisters are coming next weekend to spend some time with us and bring Brayson his birthday presents. I'm pretty sure that Jason is going to hate what my mom is bringing but Brayson is sure to love it! She's bringing him a "real" cowboy hat! He wants one so bad. Now all he needs is a rope so he can rope his "cow-horse". I guess in his mind they are the same animal. He cracks me up!

My little sister just turned 13 and thinks she knows everything. I'm sure I was never that way....haha! I can't wait to see them!

I really need to take some recent pics so I can put some on here. I just never remember to get my camera out!

Have a great weekend!!!!

P.S. If anyone knows how I can subscribe to other bloggers, please let me know.....

First Post

I'll start this off by telling you a little about me and my family. I'm a 26 year old wife to Jason and mother to Trevor (9 1/2) & Brayson (almost 4). I work full-time for my in-laws. I couldn't ask for a better job and opportunity. I've worked for them for a little over 4 yrs. I'm the administrative assistant, secretary, accts. payable, mail opener, I also type up our estimates and quotes, I'm the ISO certified person here (I make sure everyone is minding their P's and Q's when it comes to their job), among many other multi-task requirements :) I am also taking an AutoCAD class on Mon and Wed nights to learn how to edit/create drawings for the control panels we build at work. A little continuing education and learning of a new trade is always exciting! That's my work life.....now on to the most important part of my life:

The kids and Jason! I'll start with the kiddos. Trevor is my step-son although you probably couldn't tell by looking at us that he wasn't mine. I consider him my own! He has lived with us since he was 4 almost 5, which was when Jason and I got married and moved to Oklahoma from Texas. He is a sweet little boy who needs a LOT of care and attention. We spend a lot of time at the therapist and psychiatrist for him. He has been "labeled" so far with Severe mood disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD (I'm not sure of this due to the other things going on), Tricotilimania, OCD, anxiety and depression. I'm not even sure if I remembered all of them. Poor little guy. Anyway, you will hear a lot more about him in my blogs. He is a LOVER of all things Spider-man, video games, college football and action figures! I think this will be a good place for me to vent my struggles and success with him among getting opinions from other people.

Brayson, who turns 4 on the 25th of this month, is such a funny little character! Right now, he is totally into cowboy attire, which Jason truly despises! I can't help but laugh because Brayson has such a unique personality and doesn't care what Daddy thinks about his cowboy get-up! Did I mention that he thinks he knows EVERYTHING :) He is also starting the "monsters under the bed" stage. He spends many nights in our bed kicking our ribs and heads while he is trying to get comfy....never mind us!

Jason is my wonderful husband. We have been married for 4 1/2 great years! I could not ask for a better person. God has given me such a blessing in him! To tell you a little bit about us, Jason is a whole-hearted OU Sooners fan and I'm a whole-hearted Texas Longhorns fan! We both bleed our team colors and do not give in to one another when to comes to watching football games on Sat during the fall! We are both stubborn to the bone that each of our teams is better than the other! But we are both Chicago Cubs fans, so that makes for a relaxed baseball season! Right now we are in the midst of trying to buy our first home! I hope everything works out!!!!! We should find out this week if we are "full steam ahead" for our closing date of March 24th!

I found out about blogger through Jason's cousin Kimberly! I've been inspired to start one of my own to not only keep in touch with her but to also have a place to jot down all the fun or not so fun memories of our kids and our lives. I have a myspace acct. but it is mostly to keep up with friends and to be honest, there are quite a few that are just acquaintances that I don't think I want reading about my daily life!

Ok, so that is an introduction into the Green family! I'm sure to write more later this week and get some pictures up soon!
