I'll start this off by telling you a little about me and my family. I'm a 26 year old wife to Jason and mother to Trevor (9 1/2) & Brayson (almost 4). I work full-time for my in-laws. I couldn't ask for a better job and opportunity. I've worked for them for a little over 4 yrs. I'm the administrative assistant, secretary, accts. payable, mail opener, I also type up our estimates and quotes, I'm the ISO certified person here (I make sure everyone is minding their P's and Q's when it comes to their job), among many other multi-task requirements :) I am also taking an AutoCAD class on Mon and Wed nights to learn how to edit/create drawings for the control panels we build at work. A little continuing education and learning of a new trade is always exciting! That's my work life.....now on to the most important part of my life:
The kids and Jason! I'll start with the kiddos. Trevor is my step-son although you probably couldn't tell by looking at us that he wasn't mine. I consider him my own! He has lived with us since he was 4 almost 5, which was when Jason and I got married and moved to Oklahoma from Texas. He is a sweet little boy who needs a LOT of care and attention. We spend a lot of time at the therapist and psychiatrist for him. He has been "labeled" so far with Severe mood disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD (I'm not sure of this due to the other things going on), Tricotilimania, OCD, anxiety and depression. I'm not even sure if I remembered all of them. Poor little guy. Anyway, you will hear a lot more about him in my blogs. He is a LOVER of all things Spider-man, video games, college football and action figures! I think this will be a good place for me to vent my struggles and success with him among getting opinions from other people.
Brayson, who turns 4 on the 25th of this month, is such a funny little character! Right now, he is totally into cowboy attire, which Jason truly despises! I can't help but laugh because Brayson has such a unique personality and doesn't care what Daddy thinks about his cowboy get-up! Did I mention that he thinks he knows EVERYTHING :) He is also starting the "monsters under the bed" stage. He spends many nights in our bed kicking our ribs and heads while he is trying to get comfy....never mind us!
Jason is my wonderful husband. We have been married for 4 1/2 great years! I could not ask for a better person. God has given me such a blessing in him! To tell you a little bit about us, Jason is a whole-hearted OU Sooners fan and I'm a whole-hearted Texas Longhorns fan! We both bleed our team colors and do not give in to one another when to comes to watching football games on Sat during the fall! We are both stubborn to the bone that each of our teams is better than the other! But we are both Chicago Cubs fans, so that makes for a relaxed baseball season! Right now we are in the midst of trying to buy our first home! I hope everything works out!!!!! We should find out this week if we are "full steam ahead" for our closing date of March 24th!
I found out about blogger through Jason's cousin Kimberly! I've been inspired to start one of my own to not only keep in touch with her but to also have a place to jot down all the fun or not so fun memories of our kids and our lives. I have a myspace acct. but it is mostly to keep up with friends and to be honest, there are quite a few that are just acquaintances that I don't think I want reading about my daily life!
Ok, so that is an introduction into the Green family! I'm sure to write more later this week and get some pictures up soon!
